After a much appreciated passage in 2017, French singer ZAZ is back at the Videotron Centre in Quebec 24 April 2019.
Book your evening of April 24, 2019 (since you kind of have an advance warning) since the French singer Zaz returns at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City. Two years to the day or almost after having presented her first show in one of the biggest arena in the country, she returns with her musicians to present us a new version of her most recent gig, which certainly will not displease her many fans. Because a performance from this singer-songwriter from Tours, a city in the center of France, is always a pleasant musical evening to share with many thousands of other fans and lovers of the artist.
When announcing her last visit to Quebec, I must admit that I did not know Zaz at all while I was about to write my blog about her. I discovered an artist with an enchanting voice that composes such catchy melodies that I have downloaded many of her songs (legally must I add) that are now part of my daily playlists.
With her real name Isabelle Geffroy, ZAZ is very involved in international development with her “Project Zazimut” which aims to promote a more just and more fulfilling world in focusing, among other things, on the education of children in disadvantaged areas. The organization’s flagship event took place last year for the first time, while the Crussol Zazimut Fest was presented in July 2017, with a second edition in preparation for the same dates in 2018.
In a recent interview with Radio-Canada Radio, Zaz said Quebec has become, over the years, her favorite home, a place she visits in her spare time that made her feel good , free and in my place. There is a “We” side and not “I”, she said on this occasion.
