What to do in Quebec City for New Year’s Day? The answer is very simple, because every year, this event is grandiose! Get out your tuques and mittens, and come join the Quebec party on the Grande Allée, one of the most famous streets in Quebec City. This year, the event, which will run from December 27 to 31, 2016, will have a special flavor, as it will mark the kick-off of the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Canadian Confederation. The site will open every day in the afternoon to allow everyone to enjoy the Ferris wheel, the 200-meter-long urban zipline, outdoor heated bars and terraces, and more. The whole culminates with the great show of December 31, presented in place of the National Assembly of Quebec.
