Are you a football fan? The Vanier Cup will be presented in Hamilton on November 28th. Let’s hope that the Rouge et Or of Université Laval will be there!
The Vanier Cup, the holy grail of the CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) in football will be held in Hamilton, ON for the second consecutive year, much to the chagrin of the many Quebec City fans who have been accustomed to host the biggest non-pro football game of the year. The Vanier Cup final will be played at the all-new Tim Horton Field Stadium in Hamilton, home of the Canadian Football League’s professional team, the Tiger Cats, on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Supporters of the Rouge et Or, if the team is up to the expectations and reaches the final, will be able to watch the game live on TV in French on the TVA Sports network and in English on Sportsnet.
Since joining the CIS in 1995, the Rouge et Or Football team has attracted the biggest crowds of all teams across Canada, and the games held at Laval University’s Telus Stadium provide an unrivaled experience in the country. Its success is certainly due to the dominant performance of the team, which now has the highest number of national championships in the history of the league with 9. It is therefore possible to attend a high-profile show featuring a high-level team during the games of the Rouge et Or Football
