Since its appearance in 2001, the Red Bull Crashed Ice has become a major winter sport event! This spectacular event brings every year more than a hundred athletes who do not have cold feet. This track over 600 meters, built on a massive steel structure with a gigantic cooling device, features the most daring skaters, performing and hardened in the world. After a break of a year last season where the competition was held in Edmonton, the return of the Quebec City Red Bull Ice Crashed was announced and will take place as part of its 10th anniversary, for the delight of Quebec City’s fans! Once again this year, we will attend this unique extreme skating race, where skaters try to reach the finish line as quickly as possible. Competing in groups of 4 people at a time, all shots are allowed during the descent littered with obstacles and jumps. Wearing hockey equipment, these high performance athletes reach speeds up to 70 km/ h. This icy track therefore offers a significant challenge to any skater who loves speed and playing the elbow! The top rank is the only goal!
