Planning a trip to Quebec City in 2017? Here is the programming of the Center Vidéotron de Québec so that you do not miss the big events.


Opened in the fall of 2015, the brand new multi-purpose amphitheater, Québec City’s Videotron Centre has already hosted several of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Pearl Jam, Muse, Bryan Adams, Céline Dion, Cirque du Soleil to name just a few, and the year 2017 will bring us an array of artists and sporting events that will please everyone. Here is a list of all the events that are already confirmed for 2017.


Québec Remparts

Les Remparts  will complete their regular season schedule in mid-March and are already almost guaranteed to play in the playoffs. This means that the representatives of the Québec Junior Major League of the Old Capital will offer again you this year a competitive team that will make you live strong emotions at all times.


Billy Talent: March 2

The group from Mississauga, Ontario and darling of the residents of the old capital are back with their most recent show Afraid of Heights tour, inspired by their latest album of the same name. An event not to be missed, because Billy Talent  is known for giving breathtaking performances, especially in Quebec City.


Disney on ice: March 9 to 12

Take full advantage of the spring break to surprise your little treasures with the Disney on Ice show: Passport to Adventure . They will be amazed at the skating prowess of Mickey and his friends, including his charming Minnie, Dingo and of course the characters Frozen.


Simple Plan: March 13th

Do not miss the arrival in Quebec City of the Pop-Punk group, which has been the pride of the province of Quebec throughout the world for years. Having had to cancel their tour Taking one for the team, which was due to stop in Quebec last November, because of the band’s lead singer Pierre Bouvier’s voice issue, Simple Plan are back with Plain White T and Set it off in the first part.


The Lumineers: March 19

Indie Folk band The Lumineers trio will present the pieces from its most recent album Cleopatra to Quebec fans, as well as their hits like Ho Hey, Ophelia and Stuborn love. Having conquered the hearts of Quebeckers during their visit to the Québec City Summer Festival last July, this show will appeal to both the hardcore and the neo-pop fans.


Green Day: March 23

Legend of Punk rock, a career that stretches over 30 years, Green Day will carry their luggage of hits to deliver several hymns of this kind of music like When I come around, Basket Case, Good Riddance (Time of your life), American Idiot and other titles that made my youth and that of several others of my generation.


Zaz: April 27th

The pretty French singer with the voice sometimes hoarse and sometimes soft arrives with a cheerful and energic, folk-soul sound with plenty of body-moving rhythms. New flagship of French song abroad, Zaz arrives in Quebec City with a brand new show inspired by her latest studio album Paris. Come to discover this artist full of promise during her passage at the Videotron center.


Florida Georgia Line: May 6

The country duo of the hour in the United States, Florida Georgia Line, are bringing their horses and Cowboys hats to present us their latest album Dig your roots, not to mention the titles that made them known like This is how we roll and the global success Cruise. YEEEEHAAA !!!!


Monster Spectacular: May 13

An event that attracts crowds everywhere they go, the Monster Spectacular show arrives at the Quebec City’s Videotron Centre with all the most impressive prowess for which they are famous. Join the high revving motors and car stunt enthusiasts for this high-color event.


Paul Piché: May 20th

The former member of the Quebec cult band of the seventies Beau dommage will be performing in Quebec City with a show that aims to highlight the release of his first solo album À qui appartient l’beau temps?. Several guests will accompany him on stage like Vincent Vallières and Safia Nolin, but it would not be surprising to see other big names of the Quebec’s cultural scene added to that list.


The Weeknd: May 31

The new sensation of R & B The Weeknd will be in Québec City as part of its world tour Starboy, Legend of the fall. On the program, his greatest hits like Earned it, The Hills and the unforgettable ear-worm can’t feel My Face.


Red Hot Chili Peppers: June 18 / CANCELLED

After a half-tone show at the summer festival last year, The Red Hot Chili Peppers were supposed to be back at the Videotron Center in June 207. Unfortunately, the show is canceled due to a scheduling conflict.


Iron Maiden: July 16

Iron Maiden is still worship by metal fans in Québec City region more than 30 years after their first visit, and this time they are dropping by Quebec City (They had forgotten us during the first part of this tour earlier in 2016) with their tour The book of soul from their most recent album released in 2015.


Bruno Mars: August 24th

The talented Hawaiian Bruno Mars will present his latest creation, 24K Magic show to the many amateurs of the region of Quebec, which heart he conquered during his last gig at the Quebec Summer Festival in 2013. Singer-songwriter-choreographer, multi-instrumentalist and seasoned dancer, all his talents are on display in his shows, often to the delight of the ladies present in the audience.


Roger Waters: October 6 and 7

The “creative genius” behind the mythical group Pink Floyd brings his most recent creation to Quebec City with his show Us + Them, which will mix the group’s greatest successes and those of his solo career. Come and see one of the most spectacular shows in the modern musical world.
