Several activities are offered year-round for the whole family.
During the summer
Many major shows are presented such as those presented in part of the renowned Quebec City Summer Festival. Also, several major performances were held on the Plains of Abraham who became a mythical scene. Note among the greatest Paul McCartney, Madonna, Pink Floyd, Metallica and ACDC soon this summer. On a smaller perspective meanwhile, the Edwin Bélanger pavilion offers free classical music programming throughout the summer. As far as activities, the variety is not lacking! The Plains of Abraham have the vocation of a gigantic outdoor play room since it is possible to practice rollerblading, jogging, walking, cycling, football, soccer and hiking a multitude of other recreational activities in one of the most inviting environment with 1.4 km of looping tracks.
During the winter
In winter, snow sports are featured on the Plains of Abraham with over 11 km of trails that are suited for cross-country skiing, 4 km loop for snowshoeing and about 6 km reserved to walk. A huge lighted ice ring is laid out each winter. Also in January, the Quebec City Winter Carnival will amaze you.
