Country star Keith Urban will be performing at the Videotron Center in Quebec City on August 13, 2017 for his Ripcord tour.
For the second time in his career, Keith Urban is coming to the Belle Province for two shows, one in Montreal and the other at the Videotron Center in Quebec City. During its first presence on Quebec soil in 2015, Urban had pleased its Quebec fans with a magnificent performance as part of the first evening devoted to the country style in the history of the Québec City Summer Festival. It is safe to say that the performance he will give in 2017 will be of the same quality, as he is recognized for his flawless performances on stage.
Since the US release of his eponymous album in 1999, he is considered one of the most popular country artists of his generation. Keith Urban has a varied sound, which detracts from other artists of the same genre, with its pop connotations and the use of varied instruments that are not part of the traditional country registry. This unique approach helped him make its mark in this very traditional market that is usually reluctant to change. This is all the more impressive when we know that Urban is a New Zealander and that very few artists from elsewhere than in the United States succeed in building a career as a world star in the country as he did it.
With 9 studios album, with its most recent Ripcord, released in the summer of 2016, he is also the interpreter of more than 20 songs which have found themselves at the number one of the country charts like the mega-hits You’ll Think of Me, Someone Like You, Tonight I Wanna Cry, I Love You, I Love You, You Look Good In My Shirt. It is a good bet that he will play most of these successes during his visit to Quebec and Montreal in August.
It is therefore a rendez-vous not to be missed for the fans of Country, which are more and more numerous in the region of Quebec in particular. Do not miss Keith Urban at the Videotron Center next summer!
