Do not miss a music legend’s last lap on stage whit the show of Sir Elton John at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City on September 29th.
September 29, 2018. Remember this date and circle it on your calendar, as it will mark your last chance to attend a concert by pianist Elton John at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City. Following a live Web broadcast last week, the 70-year-old musician announced that his Farewell Yellow Brick Tour would indeed sing the end of his illustrious career. After more than 50 songs that cracked the Billborad top 40 chart, more than any Human being not named Elvis Presley, 300 million album sold, 6 Grammy, 1 Oscar and a 1994 Rock And Roll Hall of Fame induction, it will be at the end of this tour that will last three that Sir Elton John will bow out.
The career of this music giant spans over 5 decades and has given us timeless successes like Do not Go Breaking My Heart, Tiny Dancer, Your Song and of course its greatest success, Rocket Man. He is also responsible for Can you Feel the Love Tonight, part of the soundtrack of one of Disney’s greatest films, The Lion King, for which he won the Oscar for best soundtrack. And who does not remember his homage to Princess Diana, as he played a new version of his song Candle in The Wind at the funeral of the Princess of Wales in 1997.
