Ed Sheeran Quebec

The popular English singer Ed Sheeran will perform at the Quebec City’s Videotron Centre on July 18 2017

We were expecting it for the Québec City Summer Festival, but Ed Sheeran will finally be at the Videotron Center in Quebec City on July 18, 2 days after the end of the Summer Festival. Another really popular English artist, James Blunt, will serve as opening act for Sheeran.

So it’s a big take for the Vidéotron Center, one that pulls the rug from under the Festival’s feet, whom would certainly have the very popular English singer on the stage Bell of the Plains of Abraham for its 50th edition. As the capacity of the new amphitheater in Quebec City is much less than that the one on the Plains d’Abraham, we can already foresee that the tickets for this show will fly like hot rolls when put on sale 17 March at 10:00. Ticket prices range from $ 55 to $ 135 plus taxes and services, and will be available for sale through Ticket Master .

With a reputation as a creative genius, he has composed songs for the greatest music stars like One Direction and Taylor Swift, with whom he toured in 2015 for all the dates of her The Red Tour. In an interview on the red carpet of a gala recently, Sheeran confessed to writing the song Shape of You with the idea of offering it to Hip Hop artist Rihanna, but eventually found that the piece would be perfect for his Album Divide (÷) released at the beginning of 2017. It will be one of the songs that you will certainly hear at the concert of Quebec on July 18, with all its other successes like Kiss Me, Sing, Don’t and the single that propelled him to glory The A team.

Did you know that :

Just prior to celebrity and fame, Ed Sheeran had begun an open mics tour in Los Angeles clubs to get to try and draw attention. It was during a performance at Foxxhole, a radio show broadcasted by Sirius XM and hosted by actor and interpreter of Ray Charles, Jamie Fox that he noticed Sheeran. Foxx immediately offered him to record his songs in his own studio and offered him to stay at his Hollywood home for the rest of his journey on North American soil. It is therefore probably to Jamie Foxx that we owe the success of Sheeran. Thank’s Jamie !!!

Do not miss Ed Sheeran and James Blunt at the Videotron Center of Quebec on July 18, it is a rendez-vous!
