Presented since 2000 in different cities of the globe, the Red Bull Crashed Ice is a "mix between hockey, boardercross and downhill ski" where skaters must brave an extremely unconventional ice rink longer than half a kilometer (56 meter of them vertically).
The Red Bull Crashed Ice Quebec City is now in its fifth edition in a row and will be held on this coming March 20th, 2010 on Côte du Palais, Old Quebec City. The edition of Red Bull Crashed Ice 2010 promises to be intense: the event has become nothing less than a word championship where athletes from eight different countries will compete.
The first part of the competition took place mid-January in Munich, Germany and the Red Bull Crashed Ice world champion will be crowned in Quebec City after a cumulative of points earned in each of the two cities.
