The Quebec Winter Carnival is the largest winter carnval in the world and is presented each year in Quebec City. The 2012 edition of the Quebec Winter Carnival will take place from January 27th, 2012 to February 12th, 2012.
 
Most events are located on the Plains of Abraham and its surrounding areas. Among them, the famous Ice Palace, the canoe race on the frozen river, a strange tradition: the snow bath, as well as snow sculptures, snow slides, snow rafting and more.
