Bordeaux Celebrates Wine in Quebec City

Bordeaux’s biennial festival of wine will be held in Quebec City from September 6 to 9, 2012 at Espace 400e. The event will be exported overseas to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the twinning between Bordeaux and the old capital.

In June 2010, Bordeaux opened the seventh edition of “Bordeaux Fête le Vin” now considered the "first touristic wine event in France promoting Bordeaux wines". The French town reached an undoubted success with an attendance estimated at more than 500 000 visitors in four days at this latest edition of Bordeaux Wine Festival.

This is why Quebec City can expect a considerable success for the first edition of Bordeaux Wine Festival in Quebec. Organizers are hoping to make it the biggest wine tasting in America.
